Procedure Overview

Facial Liposuction has become a common cosmetic procedure, either on its own or in conjunction with facelift or other facial procedures. It consists of the removal of unwanted fatty tissue with a cannula and vacuum device promoting and improving facial shape like jaw line or even using laser lipolysis approach.

During the facial aging process, excess fat tissue accumulates in specific areas of the face, such as the chin, neck and jowls. JK’s Facial Liposuction uses laser or ultrasound-assisted techniques to delicately remove only the necessary subcutaneous fat deposits.

What happens after the operation?

Typically, patients return to daily activities, including a return to work, within 2 weeks after surgery. Expect your face to feel tight for a few weeks, and know that bruising and swelling are normal . After 1 week you should be in minimal discomfort and be able to return to light duties at work at 1 – 2 weeks. We ask that you refrain from strenuous activity or exercise until 6 weeks after your surgery. Bruising and discoloration of the face may be visible for the first 2 weeks. The face will initially be swollen and this will subside over 2 weeks.
